Henk is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in product manufacturing, packaging, sales, and marketing. His extensive industry knowledge and innovative approach have established him as a leader in creating value-driven business solutions. Driven by a clear vision, Henk is dedicated to shortening the supply chain between farmers, manufacturers, and end consumers. Through this approach, he not only enhances efficiency but also creates meaningful opportunities for youth empowerment and economic upliftment. Henk’s commitment to adding value at every stage of the process ensures that both producers and consumers benefit — ultimately putting smiles on faces and making a lasting positive impact.
With over 25 years of experience in administration and financial management, Karen brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the 2MS Group. As a successful entrepreneur, she has excelled over the past decade, gaining valuable shareholding across multiple companies. Karen’s passion for events and creative design inspired the founding of 2MS Events, where her vision and attention to detail continue to drive excellence. Her natural talent for design and event planning, combined with her vibrant and engaging personality, enable her to build strong, lasting relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners alike. Karen consistently adds value to every project she undertakes. Her dedication, professionalism, and positive energy make her an invaluable member of the 2MS team. It is both an honor and a privilege to have her as part of our group.
Jaydee has been actively involved in the grain trading industry for over five years, gaining valuable experience in sourcing grain directly from farmers and providing grain support services. Through dedication and hands-on industry engagement, Jaydee has built strong and lasting relationships with numerous farmers and producers. With a focus on adding value and fostering sustainability, Jaydee is committed to developing meaningful partnerships and promoting long-term growth within the agricultural sector.
Ruben became part of the 2MS Group team a year ago, bringing hands-on experience from both the construction and hospitality industries. Known for his energy and enthusiasm, Ruben is passionate about making a difference—building meaningful relationships with clients and suppliers and helping the 2MS Group grow and succeed together.
Natasja is our New Business Manager and been with us for the last 2 years. With over 15 years of experience across procurement, sales, and supply chain management, Natasja brings a results-driven and people-focused approach to business growth at 2 Million Steps. Before joining the team in August 2024, she led strategic procurement and operational initiatives at leading South African companies. Her expertise spans supplier management, contract negotiation, financial modeling, and the development of efficient business processes that drive performance and profitability.
Bertus obtained his MBChB medical degree in 1982 from the University of Pretoria and began his medical career shortly thereafter. With extensive experience across diverse medical fields — including service in the East Rand and Namibia — Bertus went on to serve his country with distinction as a Medical Officer in the South African National Defence Force (SANDF). In 1991, he furthered his expertise in vascular surgery in the United Kingdom, and from 1992 to 2004 he practiced at several leading vascular surgery clinics across South Africa and Namibia. In 2004, Bertus acquired the Netcare Hospital in Benoni, expanding his leadership beyond clinical practice. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Bertus has also established a strong presence in farming and property development, combining his medical insight with strategic business acumen. Today, 2MS Group is privileged to have Bertus as part of its leadership team — where his vision, experience, and passion play a vital role in advancing our animal feed division and the Weideman Voere brand.
